Behavior Plan

Mrs. Fessler’s Class Rules

Here’s our list of the most important rules that will
be used in our classroom daily to keep students safe and ready to learn.

    1. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

            2. Raise your hand to speak.

3. Do not talk when the teacher or speaker is talking.

4. Follow the directions the first time given.

5. Use kind words, voices, and facial expressions.

COLOR CODE

1.     Children start on green each day (GREEN - A PRIZE TICKET).

2.    If a child breaks a rule, he/she receives a warning and moves to orange (ORANGE-WARNING, NO TICKET)

3.     If a child breaks a second rule, he/she moves to yellow (YELLOW - LOSS OF SOME RECESS).

4.    If the child breaks another rule, he/she moves to red (RED - LOSS OF ALL RECESS/REFLECTION PAPER).

WILD ABOUT GOOD BEHAVIOR TICKETS

In addition to the school’s positive behavior plan and rewards, I reward good behavior in my classroom.

Good behavior is rewarded with a ticket. Students can save the tickets and trade them for special privileges.

SAMPLE REWARD LIST:

* No reading class homework

* Reading to a younger classroom

PAX!

We incorporate PAX into our everyday lives at Grace S. Beck. PAX Good Behavior Game is a reward for students when they show the four key elements of PAX:

PEACE
PRODUCTIVITY
HEALTH
HAPPINESS

Students play the behavior game and are rewarded with fun, out of the ordinary, activities and prizes :).
